Ninja Ripper is a software utility designed to capture (or "rip") geometry, textures, and shaders from the DirectX and OpenGL graphics pipeline. When you press a hotkey, the tool intercepts the data sent from the game engine to your GPU and saves it as standard 3D file formats (such as .OBJ, .FBX, or .RIP) alongside texture maps (DDS, PNG, TGA).

Unlike the older Ninja Ripper 1.7, which was discontinued in 2017, is a modernized, "global update" rebuilt to handle the complex, high-poly environments of modern AAA games. It is important to note that this tool is designed for educational, research, and non-commercial fan-art purposes. Key Features and Improvements in Ninja Ripper 2.0 ninja ripper 20

Ripping 3D assets with Ninja Ripper 2.0 requires careful execution across three main phases: configuration, real-time extraction, and importing.

In the Ninja Ripper settings, you will see "Hotkey" assignments. The default is usually for a full scene capture or F12 for a forced capture. Press this while the character or object you want is visible on screen. 2. Wait for Processing Unlike the older Ninja Ripper 1

If you're unsure which method to use, start with the default setting. If the game fails to launch or you don't see the Ninja Ripper overlay, try different wrapper options.

Traditional asset extraction relies on unpacking compressed game archives, which are often heavily encrypted or saved in proprietary formats. Ninja Ripper 2.0 bypasses the file system entirely by intercepting data at the hardware rendering level. The Graphics Pipeline Interception In the Ninja Ripper settings, you will see

Run the NinjaRipper2.exe file. In the main interface, use the "..." button to navigate and select the target game's main executable file (the .exe file). Below the executable path, specify an output folder where the ripped models and textures will be saved.
