The story begins with John Oldman (played by David Lee Smith), a respected history professor, who is abruptly resigning from his university post. A group of his closest colleagues—a biologist, an anthropologist, an art history professor, and others—arrive to give him a surprise farewell party. As they press him for the real reason for his sudden departure, John slowly unveils a story that challenges the very foundations of their knowledge. He claims to be a Cro-Magnon, born over 14,000 years ago, who has never aged and has walked the Earth for millennia.
